This is an Ethiopian bean originating from the Kayon Mountain region. It is a nice, clean, bright and sweet cup. Depending on the roast level, you may taste citrus, floral, spiced chocolate, and a hint of strawberry.
Light roasts will have more of the citrus and fruit flavors, whereas the medium and dark roasts will turn to more of the spiced chocolate and a dryer less acidic finish.
We enjoy this cup from light to dark roast levels.

To maintain a high level of quality and freshness, our organic coffee bean suppliers only stock a set amount of each bean per year. This is to prevent overstocking so beans DO NOT go old or stale before they arrive at our doorstep for roasting.
Unfortunately this means that our supply of certain coffee beans will run out for a short period of time each year while the stock is being replenished. Ensuring that we only roast high-quality and fresh organic coffee beans.
